Al Hirschfeld Theatre Rules

Several rules are in place at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and performers. Most shows do not allow any camera or recording equipment, subject to the wishes of the production teams.

Doors open around 45 minutes before show time, so please arrive with plenty of time to pass through security checks and locate your seat. While you cannot bring your own food or drink, plenty of concessions are available inside the venue.

The Al Hirschfeld Theatre does not specify maximum bag dimensions. However, it’s important to remember that all bags will be searched, and large pieces may not be permitted. Bringing a small, clear bag will make searches much easier. Likewise, all bags should fit under your seat during the show.

At the request of the majority of performers and shows, who do not allow any duplication of their performances, cameras are prohibited at Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
